Guaraná - Made in the UAE

Hamad Alhashimi, Mohammed Rustam and Hassan Fardan, three Emiratis, have joined forces with Brazilian Marco Cunha to launch and promote the flavor of Guaraná in Asia, Africa and Europe.

After a series of frustrated attempts to attract the interest of Brazilian companies into exporting the product, the four partners decided to open Guarana LLC, establish a plant in Jebel Ali, Dubai, and produce their own version of this popular Brazilian soft-drink, made from extracts of the Amazonian fruit – Guaraná.

The product, officially launched last month, can be found at the Union Cooperative Society (Jumeirah, Mirdiff and Qusaie), but the plan is to see Guaraná cans on supermarket shelves all over the UAE very soon.

And the four musketeers won’t stop at that! Once the soft-drink is well known and popular enough, other Guaraná-flavored products will follow: low calorie soft drinks, sports drinks, energy drinks and much more…
